In 2009 Don was honoured to be commissioned to produce four statuesque bronze lamps and all the bronze handrails for the memorial to the Queen Mother and King George VI on The Mall in London. The lamps are over five feet high and are fitted with gas lights to complement the existing gas lamp standards on The Mall. Don attended the official unveiling by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
