The island of Mousa is one of the Shetland Isles and has the most complete ancient broch which is around four thousand years old. Historic Scotland asked us to provide bronze handrailing to protect visitors who are brave enough to venture to the top for the magnificent views
Arriving at the jetty
Fitting the bronze handrail around the top
Not for the faint hearted but a wonderful place to be working!
Don’s team also fitted bronze handrailing to the stone stairs which spiral right to the top, in the dark, and can be extremely slippery when wet
